Everybody remembers when China actually declared this statement to the rest of the world: All Your Source Code Are Belong To Us. Then China gets scared of Massive Multiplayer Games. Then NOW China declares that Japanese Anime must be abolished, banned in their country, due to the lack of Chinese Anime in their own country. I mean really? Sure I’d be in support of being more nationalistic and all that crap. But sheesh, being so afraid of the rest of the world changing them is just insane. One country cannot stop globalization, no matter how powerful they are or how much resources they have.
They don’t even have originality. They pirate everything from Anime to Trains. They go out and say “no more japanese anime.” and yet they end up copying a very successful anime like 5CM per Second. I mean, really? Can’t show a japanese show but you can copy and and CLAIM that it’s yours? Just like when they said ALL YOUR SOURCE CODE ARE BELONG TO US? PUHHHHLEASE!!!!
I don’t hate the Chinese in general. I’ve been friends with quite a few during college and I’ve met a lot of really nice chinese folks in my time. But the fact that they think they’re so damn superior is just stupid, really. Some of their traditions are also a little too old for a globalized world. I just hope they wake up and realize, the world isn’t that big anymore and they have to be part of it. What am I talking about? They’re not gonna change.
