Lost

Juliet’s not dead. Well, actually she might be dead, but she and Faraday will both appear in the forthcoming (and final) season of the show. The last season will focus less on the Dharma folks, but there will be a lot of Richard, and all your Dharma needs will be covered in webisode form. Also, just when you think you are starting to understand flashbacks/flash forwards, Carlton Cuse says that Season 6 will have a whole new way of dealing with them. Prepare for mind-bending chaos next spring.

Dexter

At the end of last season, Dexter and his new wife were having a baby, but fans shouldn’t fear that this is headed toward sitcom territory. Michael C. Hall reassured fans that his character would in fact still be a serial killer and a baby wouldn’t put a damper on that one bit. And while we want to hate that John Lithgow is joining the cast for Season 4, he did joke that his villain’s first victim would be Dick Soloman (the annoying alien Lithgow played on “3rd Rock From the Sun“), and that made us chuckle, so we’re trying to be optimistic. Also, there are going to be animated webisodes of Dexter’s early years … just because.

Heroes

Season 4′s new title is “Redemption,” but we’re not too hopeful after finding out that Hiro will be time traveling to rectify his mistakes (which should take the rest of his life), Claire’s flirting with her female college roomie, and that whole Sylar/Nathan thing will be a major plot point. Oh, and just to make matters worse, they are going to spend a great deal of time at the carnival, and we don’t even get any cotton candy out of the deal.

True Blood

There wasn’t a ton of “news” from the “True Blood” panel, per se, but Alan Ball seemed properly horrified by the mere idea of any vamp/human procreation on his show (a la “Twilight”), and that’s a relief. Author Charlaine Harris announced that she’s writing at least three more Sookie Stackhouse books (which the show is based on). The best news had to be that Tru Blood beverages (made with blood oranges) will be making their way to real-world markets — perfect for all our “True Blood” viewing parties.

Chuck

Chuck ended last season by downloading a new intersect into his brain and gaining not only super-spy knowledge, but also a kung-fu grip. However, star Zachary Levi says that “Chuck-fu” won’t last too long, as his powers will go on the fritz with little notice. Sounds like he’s still our little lovable, helpless nerd.

Flash Forward

This is a new series about a worldwide blackout/vision of the future, so there weren’t too many spoilers to be had, but there was one great big announcement. Dominic Monaghan of “Lord of the Rings” and “Lost” fame is joining the show, which is perfect, because this show has a bit of a “Lost” vibe about it, so he’ll fit right in.

Another reason for you to two the show is that John Cho of Harold and Kumar movies is in this show, the story’s looks to be pretty good too.

Dollhouse

We’re trying really hard to be hopefully about “Dollhouse’s” second season, and some promising news is that onetime “Buffy the Vampire Slayer“/”Angel” star Alexis Denisof is joining the cast for a few episodes. Maybe he can convince his wife, Alyson Hannigan, to do a guest spot? She’d make an awesome doll. Also promising is the news that Summer Glau (of “Firefly” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles“) might also be heading to the show. Fingers crossed that it all works out.

Sweet! Summer’s gotten pretty hot since Firefly. She looked a little crazy (which she had to be, since it was part of her character) in the show Firefly. But man, was she hot in Terminator.

Fringe

While the show was rumored to be killing off beloved agent Charlie (Kirk Acevedo), those reports seem to be untrue, at least according to Executive Producer Jeff Pinkner, who says that Charlie is “undergoing some drastic changes” and there’s also an alternate universe Charlie. Interesting. And Walter and Peter’s relationship is hitting the skids even more this fall because of the fact that Walter kept Peter’s childhood death a secret from alternate Peter, who was raised in this reality. Which isn’t nearly as perplexing as it sounds.

Supernatural

Fans of Sam and Dean can breathe a sigh of relief. While the show was originally planned by creator Eric Kripke to have a five-year run, he says he’s open to doing a sixth season. Who knows what the network will decide, or the stars will decide, but at least there’s hope, and we like that. Also, the apocalypse has been unleashed, but Kripke promises that it will be fun. The world is ending, but at least there’s Sam and Dean to put a positive spin on it.

Honestly, this show started out to be pretty good and now since it’s gotten pretty old, I started thinking, why can’t this show die already? I liked it at first. It got pretty good for a bit and then down again. I wanted this show to stay on for longer but they should hire better writers or something. Improve the story. At least it’s ending now. LOL.
