Eastwick
Based on the 1987 feature film of the same name, The Witches of Eastwick will be coming to ABC in a new series. Darryl, a mysterious man brings temptation and bestows unique powers to three women. Eastwick is produced by Warner Bros. Television.
I’ve always been a fan of the supernatural and anything mostly out of the ordinary. Fantasy and such. Aside from the fact that I loved the movie. Hehe. This series will appeal to women, mostly ones in their late teens and above. A demographic that lately has been surging since Sex and the City.
The Cleaner
From the creator of the Emmy Award winning series American Dreams The cleaner tells the story of William Banks. He’s a recovering addict who struggles to maintain his own rocky personal life while he helps others get clean by any means necessary. William works with an eclectic group, and together they bring addicts of all kinds to the point where they are ready and willing to get help and begin the difficult process of getting clean. With every success and every failure, William must confront his own demons through his unusual relationship with God. He’s a man caught between a deep love for his family, an unwavering commitment to his work, and the ghosts of his own addictions.
This show is based on the real life story of Warren Boyd, one of the co-executive producers.

Only reason this show actually caught my attention is that, the girl in this show is so hot and I had a bit of a crush on her since I first saw her on the show Battlestar Galactica. Oh, btw, she’s Korean. =D
Man V. Food

Foodie Adam Richman sets out on mission to sample the country’s best culinary treats. Richman will visit the not-to-missed restaurants in a number of cities all across the U.S.
This show’s basic premise is to have the Host pretty much eat himself to death with these challenges. Go around across America to find food challenges and eating spots that have “America’s Finest culinary treats”.
After watching show after show of this series, it kinda got me sad coz all I saw was just ginormous bits and more ginormous servings of food. It started out pretty fun to watch but it got quite redundant. Everything was either fried and or spicy. Half of the stuff was either insanely large servings or just will kill you after you eat it. Everything was so unhealthy and just shows how bad the American diet is. It’s no surprise that over 50% of the population of America is overweight.
I really hope these guys do better and do something unexpected since all I’m seeing is just a bunch of eating contests and fattening food. Sure TV.com readers rate it at 8.9 out of 10, but after a while it gets tiring.

Since the Travel Channel took over Tony’s show, this show now ROCKS. The first few seasons of this show since it was under the Discovery Channel, just got tired and well… stupid. I would watch this guy roam all over the world and do what he does, see the things he sees all the time. Although they kinda got him to quit smoking, lessen the drinking on camera and be slightly nicer overall, it got me to actually watch him more. Aside from the fact that his tour guides around the Philippines when he FINALLY goes here actually sucked butt. They didn’t do us any justice! I mean, a filipino immigrant who’s never gone to his own homeland tour another foreigner here? I mean c’mon. That’s just stupid. Sure he sold Tony to go here and do a show about us, but he did a REALLY BAD job at it. Okay, enough about the bashing. LOL. Watch it guys, it’s worth your time if you love travel and food.
Flash Forward
A mysterious global event causes everyone to simultaneously experience, for two minutes and seventeen seconds, his or her life six months in the future. When it is over, many are dead in accidents involving vehicles, aircraft, and any other device needing human control. Everyone who survived is left wondering if what they saw will actually happen.
A Los Angeles FBI agent named Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) tries to figure out what exactly happened and why it happened. Along with his team, he creates a database of people’s flash forwards from around the world called the Mosaic Collective (for which a website has been launched). Apart from the various catastrophic visions, people also see themselves relapsing into various former vices, such as Benford seeing himself drinking again, and his wife Olivia has a vision of herself with another man.

It’s got all the qualities of a show that just might make it big IMHO. I just hope it lasts. Gab and I agree that most shows that’s got time travel in it’s plot is awesome. LOL.
Hung
Well-endowed dark comedy from The Riches creator being developed at premium cable network.
A mildly entertaining show for me to watch. Enough for me to just watch as I wait for something better to come on. Beats watching regular TV that’s for sure. Not for everyone, ages 18 and up only.

Usually we are not that much into remakes of popular movies or tv franchises, simply because it’s usually a sign of creative desperation. Just look at The CW’s overwhelmingly desperate attempts to gain glory by remaking FOX’s signature teen shows from the early 90s. In the case of ABC’s “V”-remake however, we feel surprisingly optimistic. It’s easier to re-imagine a sci-fi-concept for a new decade, because that particular genre offers more opportunities than most other genres. As Ronald D. Moore’s “Battlestar Galactica” proved successfully, you can take a dated franchise and create an entirely new world out of it, while at the same time making it contemporary by adding themes that play a huge part in our society now. The first footage we have seen of “V” makes us confident that the show will do just that and if that is not enough the show features a stellar cast of actors that includes Lost’s Elizabeth Mitchell, Firefly’s Morena Baccarin, Party Of Five’s Scott Wolf and The 4400’s Joel Gretsch.
