Doesn’t Tony Hawks ingeniusly thought up of a peripheral that looks a lot like Back to the Future’s Hover Board? I guess that was his inspiration.

Anyway, some news on said controller:
Game Studios will now think up of other games to use this new ‘platform’ as they call it.
“We look at it less as a peripheral, as more of a platform,” Tsui told Videogamer. “The obvious ones are snowboarding and surfing and such, but there are a lot of games that can be used with this board, and we’re really excited to start working on those.”

I was just reading a blog on G4TV and I would like share it with you guys. This might just be where gaming is going now. The writer of the letter to Patrick Klepek does have a point.
“In the near future my sons are going to get tired of Mario and be ready for Call of Duty and SOCOM,” he said. “They are very smart and will know the difference between that little box with its poor graphics and the PS3/360. But they will have no idea how to play a video game sitting on the couch and mashing buttons. They are going to want a gun that recoils and moves with them. They are going to want to dodge and duck and strafe with their bodies, because that’s the way [they] are learning to play today.”
