How to Transplant Pepper Plants and Tomato Plants

A slight update on my pepper plants 7/21/10

Here are the pictures of the transplanted plants:

These are a bunch of random peppers. These peppers are bell peppers, jalapeno peppers and a couple of topped off siling labuyo hybrid f2′s. I’m gonna harden them off in the sun (or lack of it).

There’s some wrinkled leaves on my pepper plants coz of overwatering. I held back on the watering since  the rain has been doing it for me lately. The wrinkly leaves are still wrinkly only larger. But there’s new growth on the plants and it seems that it’s growing healthy leaves now. No more wrinkled up leaves. At first I thought the wrinkling was caused by the sun coz it was too hot. But I was wrong. Just overwatering.

Fruits of my Labor: All Organic Salad

Now this is what I’m talking about! An all organic salad grown in my own garden. This is what keeps me gardening. The stuff I get to harvest makes me wanna grow more and more every time I see great results. And the fact that I get to eat what I grow is all the more reason for me to keep at it.

Garden Update 7/9/10

Here’s a shot of my indoor setup:

Finally have some asparagus sprouting up, it’s too tiny to take a picture of yet. I’ll take pictures when I finally get something capturable on my crappy Iphone’s camera. Got more seedlings coming up. Been transplanting seedlings from the trays and moving them out to plastic cups and hardening them off in the sun.

Philippines: Bhut Jolokia and Other Seedlings Update 6/10/10

So a few days have passed and I’ve got a ton of new seedlings sprouting up. I’ve potted up a few of the serrano seedlings into their own respective cups to give space to maybe new starts that I might wanna go do.

Philippines: Herb Sprouts, Bhut Jolokia Updates

Well now I have a few sprouts of herbs coming up from the seed tray that I sowed a ton of plants in.

Here’s a pic of all the basil sprouts I got so far:

These are lemon basil, spicy globe basil, genovese basil, and dark opal basil sown. only got sprouts on a couple cells. but I hope eventually I get all 8 cells sprouting.
