As we said, AMD plans to launch Evergreen series DirectX 11 graphics card by the end of 2009, and hopefully promote it for the release of Microsoft’s Windows 7 on Oct 22nd.

Looks like AMD’s gonna be first with Dx11. I would love to see more improvements on videocards. That would drive prices lower and make gaming more affordable for everyone. =D
So there’s been rumors that when Windows 7 is released, Direcx 11 videocards will come out at the same time. And AMD has been pushing for Directx 11. So here are the improvements released so far:

- Improved Precision and Integer Processing
- Tight Integration between Compute Shaders and Rendering Pipeline
- Improved Ease of Programming and Better Memory Usage Efficiency
