Tekzilla says Data Capping will Eventually DIE

 

Yeah, so I was watching today’s latest episode of Tekzilla which talked about Windows 8. Which to me is just Windows 7 was a service pack to Windows Vista. So anyway, let’s get back on track here. Patrick Norton brought up the topic of the ever increasing data needs of the whole world and how capping is going to have to give way to unlimited data, just as it had always have been. Patrick Norton mentioned that he knew someone that was “in the know” that data capping will end. We all know that there’s a ton of people here that would love to keep us in the dark and stop people from moving on towards the future, which is free data.

NTC is EVIL. Broadband is capped.

THE National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) will allow Internet broadband service providers to cap the daily volume of data allowed per user. In a revised draft Memorandum Order (MO) on Minimum Speed of Broadband Connections, the NTC said that broadband service providers should specify the minimum broadband connection speed and service reliability, as well as the service rates in their advertisements, flyers, brochures and service and legal agreements.

Alongside the disclosure on minimum speeds and reliability, telecom companies however would be allowed to set a maximum volume of data allotted per subscriber per day.
