So a few days have passed and I’ve got a ton of new seedlings sprouting up. I’ve potted up a few of the serrano seedlings into their own respective cups to give space to maybe new starts that I might wanna go do.

Well now I have a few sprouts of herbs coming up from the seed tray that I sowed a ton of plants in.
Here’s a pic of all the basil sprouts I got so far:

These are lemon basil, spicy globe basil, genovese basil, and dark opal basil sown. only got sprouts on a couple cells. but I hope eventually I get all 8 cells sprouting.

Apparently soaking the seeds don’t really work for me. The ones that I didn’t soak just went up fine without being soaked and actually went up before the ones I soaked in water.
They’re standing up! =D
I’ve got one habanero seedling standing up so far and three bhut jolokia seedlings up. but one of the bhut jolokia seedlings still has its seed coat stuck on it.
What I did was to cut part of the coat with tweezers to help it along.
Here’s a pic of the one that still has its seed coat stuck:

Well it’s been raining here now. And according to yahoo it’s gonna be raining til next week. Great for people since it’s gonna get a lot cooler, but bad for my plants in general.
I’ve had my melon plants outside for about one and a half weeks now and they’ve grown accustomed to the outside. I just hope they survive the battering this rain’s gonna give them. I hope they don’t drown.

So finally my seeds arrive! I’m trying to grow these for personal consumption and maybe if I’m lucky enough use them in my culinary school education.
