So it’s been 6 days since part 1. The Napolitano Basils have been establishing themselves in their respective pots. Both have been growing nicely. They’ve been both exposed to the same weather, light, and water conditions. No soil amendments, no fertilizers, no pesticides whatsoever.

It has been a little over 2 weeks since I’ve posted anything about this. So I guess I’ll just update you guys on the Basil plant that’s been growing in the Enrico Mix.

Here’s what happened to the plant I used garden soil with.

LOL. Looks like it didn’t like the garden soil. This might be mostly my fault. I’ll redo this review when I get to buy another Basil plant.

So I’ve been thinking about companion planting for the past few months. Companion planting is a very useful tool in a vegetable grower’s toolbox.
I’ve discovered and proved that Basil is very beneficial to growing tomatoes, eggplants and peppers. Planting basil near these plants makes them grow real fast and real healthy. Aside from the fact that Basil smells good, tastes awesome and quite healthy for us. I’ve been germinating more basil to plant beside my plants.
