Enrico Soil-less Potting Mix Rereview Part 2

So it’s been 6 days since part 1.  The Napolitano Basils have been establishing themselves in their respective pots. Both have been growing nicely. They’ve been both exposed to the same weather, light, and water conditions. No soil amendments, no fertilizers, no pesticides whatsoever.

Soil-less Potting Mix Review Part 3

Here’s what happened to the plant I used garden soil with.

LOL. Looks like it didn’t like the garden soil. This might be mostly my fault. I’ll redo this review when I get to buy another Basil plant.

Companion Planting for Your Vegetable Garden

So I’ve been thinking about companion planting for the past few months. Companion planting is a very useful tool in a vegetable grower’s toolbox.

I’ve discovered and proved that Basil is very beneficial to growing tomatoes, eggplants and peppers. Planting basil near these plants makes them grow real fast and real healthy. Aside from the fact that Basil smells good, tastes awesome and quite healthy for us. I’ve been germinating more basil to plant beside my plants.
