Folia Tropica Seed Starting Mix Review

So a friend on mine on Pinoyexchange has been using this brand for starting seeds. He’s had pretty good success with it and I decided on trying it out for myself. Since I’ve been having lots of trouble trying to germinating a few seeds that are either really stubborn or just hard to germinate.

I also used to use Ramgo’s seed starting medium. Only reason I stopped using Ramgo is because it had absolutely no nutrients at all. Sure it’s inert, but there’s absolutely nothing alive in it. You just use it for germination and that’s all it’s good for. According to this fellow member, his experience with this stuff is much better than Ramgo’s. This seed starting mix from folia tropica might just be good for leaving it there in the starter mix for a few weeks before you transplant, since it’s actual dirt and other good stuff.

Mushroom here, Mushroom there

Just wanted to share, a few clumps of ginormous looking mushrooms popping up at the oddest of places.

I hope my dog doesn’t eat them.

I’ve always been fascinated with mushrooms. Probably from playing Super Mario as a child. lol.
