So finally my seeds arrive! I’m trying to grow these for personal consumption and maybe if I’m lucky enough use them in my culinary school education.

I went ahead and got a few seeds soaked them in water and rooting solution (hormex). I then put it on top of my AVR, which gets quite warm. I’ll soak these overnight in this solution then I’ll check on them if they’ve softened up a bit and then stick ‘em in a starter mix.

I also took some seeds and put them directly into the starter mix and left it out on a sunny window to keep it warm (but I guess if it gets any warmer, in this climate it’ll end up steamed in soil rather than germinate). Checked on them right now and they were VERY warm. Hot in fact. I just switched to a different window in my room where it’s a bit cooler and still has sun.

I know I didn’t label the seeds correctly as I should have but this for now is just an experiment to see if they’ll germinate or not. To see if these seeds are actually viable. So I’ll just put up updates if there’s anything going on with these seeds.

Please comment and give me advice on what to do as this is my first time to grow these things. Much less taste or see them as these aren’t exactly native to my country.
