The Guitar I used:

My Review:

The Good:

First of all, don’t ever buy this game without having access to a Guitar controller. Playing on the keyboard and mouse, no matter how great yours are will muck up the gameplay. It’ll never feel like playing on a console without the proper peripheral. So, yeah it’s a little late for making a review for the game but still better late than never. Now that I managed to borrow my friend Gabby’s Guitar controller from his Xbox 360, I can finally play. And play I did. When I got home last night from my friend Oliver’s place I went straight to playing. I played from 12:30 A.M. straight to 5 in the morning.  Finally I got the feel for playing Guitar Hero on the PC with the proper controller. Ever since I got myself a copy of Guitar Hero 4, I’ve been itching to play Guitar Hero forever. I know, I’m the last person to play this game, but it’s still darn worth it. World Tour is even better, but I kind of like the songs from Guitar Hero 4 better.  Sadly I don’t have anyone else to play this game but I don’t mind, the Single player experience is enough for me to say that it’s hella worth it.

The Bad:

Bit of a spoiler, don’t read if you don’t wanna find out.
The only part I didn’t like was the fact that they put together the drummer from Blink 182, Sting, and Ozzy to sing songs from different bands and then made Ozzy look like he was lipsyncing like Britney Spears. It was an odd experience for me seeing Ozzy growling in a song.  And the fact that they tried to include the credits along the song by Dream Theatre. Sure it was long enough to include ALL of the credits along with literally EVERYBODY that was part of making the game and the performers and all that. Noone’s gonna be able to read it since they’d be too busy playing the darn game. Well that is, if you’re playing single player.  I also didn’t like that they separated the controls even if the game was set on single player mode. So it was pretty cumbersome trying to edit the character, the name, the symbol / logo of your band, the name of your character. It was annoying!!!!!!!! But overall it was still worth the wait.
