I just came up with this a couple days ago when I bought bean sprouts from Hanaro, a korean grocery shop near my place. When I had it I found it lacking a zing element to it. I guess this needs some sweet peppers and a squeeze of lime or lemon to add some flavor. And maybe some chili flakes to spicy it up. =D

This is as simple as can be.

Ingredients:

Edamame Bean Sprouts

Asparagus

Olive Oil

Sliced Garlic

Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions:

Firstly cut off the roots from the sprouts, and throw them in the compost heap if you have one. Cut up a few asparagus stalks and put botch in a bowl of water to wash of the dirt and whatnot. Leave for a couple minutes. Slice up some garlic. Gather the rest of your ingredients, put two or three lugs of extra virgin olive oil on a pan, take your garlic and fry it a little then put in the asparagus first. Cook for another two minutes then the bean sprouts. Then a pinch of salt and pepper to your liking. Cook til the stalks of the sprouts have shrunk a little and you’re good to go.

It’s not perfect but it’s what I came up with with what I had on hand. It went quite well with bread and some fried marinated beef slices and mustard.
