here’s the help’s monster vining veg (my driver told me it was ampalaya, she just stuck it in the ground and went nuts). and some papaya trees. we got quite a few papaya trees already and she keeps sticking more in the ground.

My friend told me that it wasn’t ampalaya. Can anyone tell me what it is?
here’s my strawberry plant from baguio, my classmate brought one home for me a month ago. it’s lost it’s runners but it’s got new growth. properly adjusted to the heat of parañaque, hopefully.

That crawling vine is alugbati, the giant green variety. There is one that is violet. Leaf is used as garnish for ginisang monggo. I don’t like the taste of this. My Canadian friend told me it tasted like boiled socks. LOL
