So I went out and met up with a buddy of mine. Chef Mon Pellicer. We met up and we were gonna talk about my school and stuff. So I ended up going with him to this hole in the wall place in BF Homes, where we both live. I was gonna ask my friend to ask her cousin if we could train at San Mig, since they’re the majority shareholder there. I was introduced to this korean place by a canuck buddy of mine Oliver. We’ve eaten there twice already. And I missed eating the stuff.
So we ordered Tok Buk Gi (or whatever), Jae Hyuen whatever and Kimchi Fried Rice. Sorry, I can barely remember the spelling, pronouncing it is a whole ‘nuther problem. LOL.
We love spicy food, and korean food is one of the tastiest spicy food I’ve ever had. This place, with no english sign and korean owned has the best korean food I’ve ever had. (which really doesn’t amount to much. lol)
Here’s the pictures:

Sorry, I was so hungry that we took a few bites out of the dishes before I remembered to take pictures. LOL.
As everybody knows that BF Homes, Parañaque has been steadily invaded by koreans and there’s lots of them here now. Lots of korean establishments from restuarants, korean groceries, secret korean call centers, korean schools and even korean churches. So it would be no surprise that great korean food can be found here.
So the building is located at along Aguirre avenue corner Tirona Street. It’s in a white building and just look for the place with the most korean stuff written on it and just enter. The place doesn’t look much, but it’s the most awesome and most authentic place I’ve ever been in. It’s this place that’s been around forever (close to probably 15 years now) and barely anyone knows about and only locals and other koreans go there. The suprising thing about it is that, with all the recession and whatever, it’s still managed to stay afloat after all these years. I mean I’ve seen it all the time and pass by the place all the time and only til recently that I’ve ever bothered going inside.
They do use sticky rice which is awesome. No idea if it was really korean sticky rice but it was definitely aromatic and tasty. The kimchi was to die for, the side dishes which are free by the way are always awesome. It’s a definite go-to place. Be warned though, lots of MSG is put into the food. So you can get kinda high on it. lol.
