So as a burger lover, I was curious about how the food was in Heavy D’s. This is a place next door to Marc’s Tattoo Shop Wild Ones. I was with my friend Carlo and we haven’t had anything to eat all day. He just finished submitting his resume to this place called DAY for a job as a Graphic Artist. I wanted to check Heavy D’s out if it was any good.
The place is located at President Ave. in front of Tapsi Plus, near 7-11 and Royal Carribean.
So we drove out to Heavy D’s and I ordered the Cream cheese burger (forgot what they called it) and Carlo ordered the Cheesy fries. Their prices weren’t bad at all. My burger came with a glass of Kool-Aid and some fries for P135. My friend’s fries was P65.

I mean look at how tall that burrger is, for P135 with a free drink and fries, granted it’s just Kool-aid. But that burger hit the spot, that’s for sure. Since it had cream cheese, I didn’t add anything else to it. That’ll just be plain wrong if I did. The cream cheese was perfect for that burger. Their patties are comparable to Hungry Hippo and Skidder’s of burger joints past in BF Homes. Those places were pretty darn good, sadly they just went bankrupt. Let’s just hope this one sticks around for a good long time.
I’ve found myself a new place to eat.

Carlo’s order, cheesy fries. They looked pretty tasty. It had bacon, cheese whiz and mayo in it. I didn’t taste it so I couldn’t really tell if it was any good. It had tons of bacon so I’d be willing to guess that it was pretty darn tasty. You can never go wrong with bacon. LOL.
They also have this promo thing going on. You have to pay P250 for it. You have to finish this really really huge burger in 5 minutes. And if you win, you get a free Heavy D’s shirt. Here’s a picture of a few people that already tried. And for you to have an idea just how HUGE the burger really is.
They also sell homemade bacon for P330 per kilo. I was thinking of getting a kilo for myself just to try it out.
