Got hardware that doesn’t work anymore? Tried everything? Wanna get it working again? Use soap! Seriously! FYI, Joy Liquid Soap is a local brand of dishwashing liquid in the Philippines.

I recently posted an IDEQ 200N with Dead motherboard. And so it seems…… Until i cleaned the board with running Water and Joy Liquid Soap. I let it dried for a couple of days…..And Whoaalahhh…Working na ulit……Yehey!!!!

Ive been using it na for more or less 2 weeks na walang patayan. Until now ok pa rin sya and in good working condition.

I would like to thank MasTer X2 from florida for giving me the idea and know hows on how to do it. At first I was a litte bit skeptical. Pero what the heck….sira na yung board eh. Yun pala pwede pa!!!!

I have the liberty to bring it sa isang computer repair shop kasi nga I have been tinkering it for 2 days na and still ayaw talaga black out. Then sinabi nang mga technician palit na lang daw talaga ako board. Kahit yung Pinakamagaling nilang technician ganon din ang sinabi.

Then I told them Il wash it with JOY….then sinabi nila Lalo lang daw masisira……Then I told them na kung mapapagana ko hahalik sila sa pwet ko!!!!

After na malinis ko at mapagana ko dinala ko sa ulit sa computer shop. AYUN….nakita nilang gumagana pero ayaw naman nila HALIKAN PWET ko……hahaha….

Anyways, I just want to share this experience.

Just make sure to dry it off COMPLETELY. Or else, you’ll get a really dead board or even worse, you’ll set it afire.
