Tekzilla says Data Capping will Eventually DIE

Yeah, so I was watching today’s latest episode of Tekzilla which talked about Windows 8. Which to me is just Windows 7 was a service pack to Windows Vista. So anyway, let’s get back on track here. Patrick Norton brought up the topic of the ever increasing data needs of the whole world and how capping is going to have to give way to unlimited data, just as it had always have been. Patrick Norton mentioned that he knew someone that was “in the know” that data capping will end. We all know that there’s a ton of people here that would love to keep us in the dark and stop people from moving on towards the future, which is free data.

My Experience with Globe And Apple

Globe’s an ass They sell iphones, but they don’t sell the iphone applecare protection plan so when the phone breaks after the warranty, they make a buck coz they’re the only ones that are certified by apple to fix the phones. And if you do manage to buy the applecare protection plan overseas, it doesn’t cover our country. Even if globe’s the one that’s officially recognized as the iphone’s official carrier. Yay for apple agreeing to this retarded deal. Yay for globe for being a money grubbing company that refuses to do anything for the globe and iphone users they claim to care so much about.

Pinoy Slang 101

Just found this site out of boredom. You’ll get a good laugh out of this.

***** “How nice naman your MULMUL! Nakakakiliti!” *****

Available in blue, red, green, etc.

6. McARTHUR — >Taeng bumabalik after mong i-flush. “I shall return!”

8. DUKIT — >Ito ang amoy na nakukuha kung isinabit mo ang daliri mo sa iyong puwit o sa puwit ng iba….try it to prove it thats DUKIT.

Typhoon Juan’s Casualty

Here is just one of the several casualties I’ve had from Typhoon Juan’s rellentless rain. And there’s gonna be another Typhoon coming in. Sheesh, nature please have mercy on my garden. rain and rain on my house, just not on my garden. LOL.

Lost a couple of annuums and a chinense pepper too. I hate this. It’s hard enough that I have to grow in these conditions and now I have to battle the weather too.

Post Office Delaying My Packages, Dried Pepper Pods

So I asked my friends at The Hot Pepper forum to send me some donations of dried chili pepper pods for my class’ Restaurant Simulation. I asked them on the first week of September, which was way over a month ago. I recieved 2 packages from the post office yesterday. I already knew that these packages will take at least a month before they arrive. But I never knew that it would take 6-7 weeks before I get to even hear anything close to finding out what happened to my stuff! First package was sent out Sept. 9, and arrived here in the country on Oct. 9. The second one was sent out Sept. 14, arrived Oct. 10. It’s taken them almost 3 weeks before they’ve even told me that I had to pick something up at the post office!!!!!! Those monkeys hold my stuff and takes FOREVER before I get anything. I already gave it a month headstart so I would get it at least just right before the simulation. But NOOOOO…..they just had to hold it for an extra 2-3 weeks longer than planned. But oh well. Shit happens. To think these things were actually sent out via priority mail in the States.
