The road includes crosses marking many of the spots where such vehicles have fallen.

So we my friends and I visited Mark’s new shop Wild Ones. We went there and he was tattooing some dude. Good thing I had my camera with me. A friend of his said, everything’s ready. And we were like, what’s ready? Marc explained that they were gonna get a couple of street kids to eat a tub of food in five minutes. And if they don’t finish it on time they’ll clean up his shop for him for free. It was a mountain of rice and dinuguan. These street kids were tiny little things. And they’ve never probably ever eaten that much in their whole lives. It was fun to watch and at the same time a nice thing for Mark to do for those kids.
