Ed McMahon Dead

TV Legend Ed McMahon died today. He died shortly after midnight at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.  His publicist didn’t give out cause of death.

reporting that McMahon “had bone cancer, among other illnesses,” citing a source “close to the entertainer.”

I always liked the guy. I knew of  him as the guy that gave out the sweepstakes checks, Star Search and back when he was on the Tonight Show.

3rd Ghostbusters Movie Announced!

I was surfing around for the correct spelling of Winston’s last name, which is Zeddemore. And I stumbled upon this link on IMDB that says that there’s gonna be a Ghostbusters 3 on 2012. Finally they’re gonna have a trilogy. I’ve been waiting for this for almost 20 years.

The original cast has been set. So expect Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson to be on the set soon, as early as this winter. Columbia Pictures has hired Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky to get together and make a script. It’s been rumored that Rick Moranis is gonna come back for the 3rd iteration of the movie but it hasn’t been confirmed yet. I also just found out that Dan Ayrkoyd wanted to cast Charmed star, Alyssa Milano and Dollhouse star, Eliza Dushku into the movie.

Transformers 2 Star Megan Fox Showing off Camel Toe

We’ve never been quite sure how this “controversy to drum up movie ticket sales” thing is supposed to work. Megan Fox has been doing the rounds, saying “shocking” things to the media and claiming she’s single and telling Ireland Online that she wants to date Angelina Jolie:

“Every time a relationship ends, I say, ‘If I could just be Angelina’s girlfriend, I would be so happy.’”megan_fox_camel_toe_1.jpg

Movie Review: Street Fighter, The Legend of Chun Li

According to IMDB that Street Fighter, The Legend of Chun Li is rated at around 4.1 out of 10. And then According to Rotten Tomatoes that this movie was a complete failure at 22%.

For those people who are expecting to see Ken and Ryu to pop up in this movie, you’re gonna be very disappointed that they aren’t gonna be there. What you see in the poster is what you get. Bison, Balrog, Chun Li, Maya, Vega, Gen, Nash, and Rose are gonna be the only Street Fighter characters that you’re going to see. Gen here was portrayed a lot younger by Robin Shou. Moon Bloodgood as Maya. Chris Klein as Charlie Nash. Neal Mcdonough as Bison (to my disappointment, he doesn’t look the part). Taboo of Black Eyed Peas as Vega. Michael Clark Duncan as Balrog. And of course the beautiful Kristine Kreuk as Chun Li.

Movie Review: Taken

A movie definetely worth watching. Action never dies down. I have this on HD. Totally worth the money and time to watch. A 9 out of 10 in my book. I never thought Liam Neeson could ever be so bad ass.

Plot:

Summary and SPOILERS: (DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THE MOVIE!)
The Division, a shadowy government agency, is genetically transforming citizens into an army of psychic warriors—and brutally disposing of those unwilling to participate. Nick Gant (Chris Evans), a second-generation telekinetic or “mover,” has been in hiding since the Division murdered his father more than a decade earlier. He has found sanctuary in densely populated Hong Kong—the last safe place on earth for fugitive psychics like him—but only if he can keep his gift a secret. Nick is forced out of hiding when Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning), a 13-year-old clairvoyant or “watcher,” seeks his help in finding Kira, (Camilla Belle), an escaped “pusher” who may hold the key to ending the Division’s program. Pushers possess the most dangerous of all psychic powers: the ability to influence others’ actions by implanting thoughts in their minds. But Cassie’s presence soon attracts the attention of the Division’s human bloodhounds, forcing Nick and Cassie to flee for their lives. With the help of a team of rogue psychics, the unlikely duo traverses the seedy underbelly of the city, trying to stay one step ahead of the authorities as they search for Kira. But they find themselves square in the crosshairs of Division Agent Henry Carver (Djimon Hounsou), a pusher who will stop at nothing to keep them from achieving their goal.

My Opinion: I watched this two nights ago. It was recommended to me by my friend Mon. I think this movie has a very interesting twist on kids with powers. I like the fact that they made it Hongkong, which gave it more street cred. Of course the movie wasn’t perfect and had a lot of flaws. But there were a lot of good points too. If done right this movie could have been fantastic.
