Raised Bed Update and Carrot Harvest

Dug it up, put in more soil and planted my tomatoes, peppers and eggplants. This bed took about 2 bags of 50 Kilo Garden soil. Was a lot of hard work. My back, arms and fingers are killing me! LOL.

Garden Update 9/21/10

Sorry that I haven’t been doing anything worth reading and all I’ve been posting is just a bunch of updates. I’ll be making a raised bed out of a section of this garden so I’ll do a little instructional thing for you guys.

a small update on my maters, eggplant and peppers:

as you can see i have a couple tomatoes falling over. i’ll be untieing the two that’s falling over and i’ll let them root on the ground as an experiment.

Been moving a few things around, also having trouble with pests such caterpillars and aphids. Hoping to kill these aphids once and for all (doubt it).

Garden Update 9/7/10

So finally, I had some time for myself and the garden for half a day. It’s right after my written final exam for my 3rd Level in culinary school. I took advantage of the fact that we were gonna be in school for just a couple of hours. Told the driver to stick a few plants in the ground while I still had time to supervise it.
