This is in conjunction with the Folia Tropica Seed Starting Mix that I was gonna review. Gonna try out my own personal mixes out of stuff I have on hand. It’ll also be compared with the Folia Tropica stuff to see which is better.
So here’s my own personal mixes:
Pure compost, P20 per 1.5 kilo bag
seeds germinated here are ground cherries. another nightshade. hope these’ll live.

my first hot pepper pod, still growing, waiting for it to ripen.

it’s starting to look a lot like a long red cayenne. which is another of my annuum varieties that i’m growing. probably is, and not a jalapeno m as i thought.

So I asked my friends at The Hot Pepper forum to send me some donations of dried chili pepper pods for my class’ Restaurant Simulation. I asked them on the first week of September, which was way over a month ago. I recieved 2 packages from the post office yesterday. I already knew that these packages will take at least a month before they arrive. But I never knew that it would take 6-7 weeks before I get to even hear anything close to finding out what happened to my stuff! First package was sent out Sept. 9, and arrived here in the country on Oct. 9. The second one was sent out Sept. 14, arrived Oct. 10. It’s taken them almost 3 weeks before they’ve even told me that I had to pick something up at the post office!!!!!! Those monkeys hold my stuff and takes FOREVER before I get anything. I already gave it a month headstart so I would get it at least just right before the simulation. But NOOOOO…..they just had to hold it for an extra 2-3 weeks longer than planned. But oh well. Shit happens. To think these things were actually sent out via priority mail in the States.
