So I got bored while waiting around for stuff to pop out. Since class isn’t starting for another two weeks for me (culinary school).I went out to the mall and bought three kinds of seed starting mediums. (local brands and pretty cheap)

Since the recommended Pro-mix and Miracle Gro Orchid Mix weren’t exactly available here locally, and I am not that crazy to go on ebay and buy that stuff online. So I went out and looked around for alternatives.
Two of my Sage seedlings died after I tried moving them to a better pot. I still got three so I don’t really have to worry about it.
Here’s a pic of two that are together.

So finally my seeds arrive! I’m trying to grow these for personal consumption and maybe if I’m lucky enough use them in my culinary school education.

I just came up with this a couple days ago when I bought bean sprouts from Hanaro, a korean grocery shop near my place. When I had it I found it lacking a zing element to it. I guess this needs some sweet peppers and a squeeze of lime or lemon to add some flavor. And maybe some chili flakes to spicy it up. =D

I’ve been doing a bit of trimming on the basil patch that our maid has been raising by herself. I did that because I noticed that the taste of the basil leaves have pretty much went from pungent to shit. And they were all starting to get yellow. Which is usually a sign that it was gonna die off. I don’t want that. So I went ahead and pinched off ALL of the yellow leaves and ALL of the flowers and ALL of the buds that were popping up.
